On the afternoon of February 7, 2025, Wang Xiaoyou, the founding president of Samarkand International College, visited the International Cooperation Department (School of International Education) of Northwest University with his team. Ren Huilian, the director of the International Cooperation Department (School of International Education), presided over the symposium.

At the meeting, the two sides discussed the establishment of a joint "2+2" training model for the Business Chinese major and the "2+2" training model for the International Trade major (cross-border e-commerce direction). The two schools plan to sign a memorandum of cooperation between schools, expand the scope of cooperation, and enhance the level of cooperation.

On the morning of February 8, 2025, Wang Xiaoyou, founding president of Samarkand International College, visited Wang Jianxin, chief scientist of the Silk Road Archaeological Cooperation Research Center and professor at Northwestern University, with his team led by Minister Ren Huilian.

Both parties look forward to cooperation between the two schools in the field of archaeology, jointly initiating joint archaeology, mutual visits and exchanges in the field of archaeology, and actively developing additional cultural tourism and other directions.

Both sides hope to take the opportunity of cooperative education to further explore cooperation in short-term student visits, teacher exchanges, joint academic research, etc., to achieve the integration of science and education between the two schools, improve the quality of talent cultivation, achieve complementary advantages and mutual benefit, and inject new vitality into future development.
